St. Louis City is among the MLS sides pursuing Borussia Dortmund attacker Marco Reus, sources have told ESPN.
Reus, who will turn 35 at the end of this month, has already announced that this will be his last season with Dortmund as his contract expires this summer. Former France international Samir Nasri told Canal+ that Reus “loves football too much to quit right now and will go to MLS next season.”

Sources told ESPN that St. Louis is one of those clubs in contention.
The second-year club already have former Dortmund goalkeeper Roman Bürki on its books, with former Hoffenheim and Fortuna Dusseldorf executive Lutz Pfannenstiel working as St. Louis’s sporting director. It is unclear if Reus would occupy a Designated Player spot.
Reus is set to conclude a glittering career with Dortmund on June 1 in the Champions League final, having spent 12 seasons at the club.
