Although the Celtics had a brief moment when it seemed as if they might mount a comeback, the Sixers continued to keep pace.

Philly’s desperation to win was summed up with a monster play from Embiid midway through the fourth quarter.

The towering centre gifted the ball to the Celtics as Boston superstar Jaylen Brown drove down the court.

Just as it seemed Brown was in for an easy lay-up, Embiid came out of nowhere and swatted the ball to the grateful hands of Maxey.

Harden then ended up with the ball and drove beyond the halfway line before dishing it back to Embiid.

Using his ridiculous physical strength, he eventually drew a foul while in the paint in what was a breathless sequence of play.

Despite the Celtics enjoying a late surge with their bench stars, it did counted for nothing as the Sixers ultimately cruised to victory.
