Western Bulldogs star forward Jamarra Ugle-Hagan is training with his teammates for the first time in a month.
Fresh after making an appearance on the sidelines for the Indigenous All Stars game in Perth, Ugle-Hagan took to Whitten Oval on Wednesday morning in what club officials have described as a positive step forward.

Ugle-Hagan has been largely absent from the club since this year as he continues to deal with personal issues.
While the left-footed playmaker has trained twice with the VFL team and has been taking part in personal training sessions at a private gym in Hawthorn, Wednesday marks the first time since early January that he has trained fully with the senior team.
He took part in skills drills early in the session and then played in match simulation drills towards the end.

Despite the positive news, Ugle-Hagan will still be unavailable for selection in the early part of the season and will have to prove himself to his teammates and the Bulldogs match committee before being considered to play at AFL level.
