Tributes are flowing for Victorian jockey Dean Holland, who tragically passed away on Monday after a horrific fall at Donald racecourse.
Holland was involved in a two-horse fall after his mount, three-year-old gelding Headingley came down at the top of the home straight.
Fellow rider Alana Kelly was also involved in the fall, but thankfully, she was able to walk back to the jockeys room under her own power.
Both horses are believed to be OK.
Many took to social media to pay tribute to the popular 34-year-old.
Holland was in the midst of a career season, which included his second Group 1 victory aboard Godolphin filly In Secret in the Newmarket Handicap only last month.
He is survived by his partner Lucy and four young children.
