St Kilda forward Anthony Caminiti is fronting the AFL Tribunal over a striking charge for the second time this season, with a clash against Carlton on the line. Live from 5pm!
Caminiti was charged with striking Hawthorn defender James Sicily during Sunday’s win, with the incident graded intentional conduct with low impact and high contact.
Interestingly, Caminiti was on the receiving end of a strike from Sicily in round 11, which saw the latter banned for one match.

Caminiti appeared before the Tribunal earlier this season after being charged with striking Collingwood’s Nathan Murphy. While he was referred there directly with a recommended ban of at least four matches, Caminiti and the Saints had intentional conduct reduced to careless, with the first-year forward receiving a three-match ban.
Caminiti has proven a shrewd addition to St Kilda’s forward mix since being taken as a pre-season supplemental selection in February.
The 19-year-old has played 16 senior games for the Saints in 2023 and booted 19 goals, including two in Sunday’s win.
