Tom Brady and Gisele’s ‘iron-clad’ prenup revealed

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen had “an iron-clad prenup” which allowed their divorce to be settled swiftly, according to sources.

While both the gridiron great and the supermodel are separately incredibly wealthy, the prenup allowed the swift division of their assets.

A source said, “There was an iron-clad prenup set down before they married in 2009. They both have their own separate business entities, so the separation of their wealth wasn’t that complicated in the end. The only other major factor was dividing up their massive property portfolio.”

It is believed Brady, 45, will keep the $17 million mansion currently under construction on the “billionaire’s bunker” Indian Creek Island in Miami. They bought the property in 2020 and demolished it.

Meanwhile, Bündchen, 42, will also retain their home on the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, where she regularly vacations with the kids.

Their massive property portfolio also includes a home in the Bahamas, another at the exclusive Yellowstone Club in Montana, and a New York City apartment, where Bündchen had been staying amid their split.

While the divorce documents are confidential, sources say they will share joint custody of their children Benjamin, 12 and Vivian, 9. Brady also has 15-year-old son Jack with actress Bridget Moynahan.

Brady has an estimated net worth of up to $333 million, while Bündchen — the world’s highest paid model — is reported to have her own $400 million fortune.

After months living apart, last week, Brady and Bündchen — who wed in February 2009 in a private ceremony in Santa Monica — confirmed they were divorcing after 13 years of marriage.

The supermodel filed for divorce in Glades County, Fla., on Friday, and the dissolution of their marriage was immediately finalised. Brady did not contest the filing.

The source added that the terms of the split and the division of their huge property portfolio were already settled ahead of the filing.

Reps for Bündchen and Brady did not respond to requests for comment.
