Tigers, AFLW player apologise over offensive messages worn during finals loss

Richmond and AFLW player Jess Hosking have received an official warning from the league over offensive language written on athletic tape she wore during last week’s semi-finals.

Seven reported Hosking had been handed a please explain by the AFL after she wore tape on both shoulders and upper arms with messages written on them.

The messages were clearly visible during the game, most appearing to be supportive as one would see written on a cast, but one very visible one said “kill bitches”.

Furphy has made the commitment to provide equal support to its AFL and AFLW teams. Don’t support the AFLW? Unbelievable.
