Former Hibernian striker Tam McManus believes Ange Postecoglou would face a “huge decision” should Tottenham Hotspur come calling for the Celtic manager’s services.
Spurs parted ways with Antonio Conte earlier this week and the club is now looking for its fourth new manager since November 2019 with Julian Nagelsmann, Mauricio Pochettino and Roberto De Zerbi the leading candidates to take over.

Postecoglou is another contender in the frame having earned plenty of admirers for his work since he arrived in Glasgow having won two Scottish League Cups and a league title while implementing an eye-catching brand of football.
The former Socceroos boss had been linked with a handful of Premier League gigs earlier in the season like Brighton, Wolves, Everton and recently Leeds.
However, the rumours to Spurs proves it’s not just the mid-table battlers who have taken notice of the Aussie’s impressive job he has overseen.
And McManus feels Postecoglou could have a tough decision to make should the London outfit come calling.
“Postecoglou wasn’t tempted by other offers from the likes of Crystal Palace, Brighton and Everton,” McManus told Football Insider.

“I don’t think he’s going to leave them for a team not in Europe.
“But Spurs will be extremely tempting and they have a lot of appeal as a club.
“They have a fantastic stadium and world-class players and I think he would leave Glasgow if Tottenham came calling.
“But he is doing very well at Celtic and building a long-term project there.
“It would be a huge decision to make.“
The Telegraph is another outlet who named Postecoglou as a direct contender, with writer Frankie Christou noting the Celtic boss has caught the eye of several figures in English football.
“Postecoglou has brought Celtic back to the top of Scottish football in just over 18 months in charge after being knocked off their perch by Rangers and is already being touted for bigger things,” Christou wrote.
“The Greece-born Australian is respected highly in coaching circles and his record does not go unnoticed but his appointment would be a risk given the huge step up to the Premier League.”
