Supercars driver Chaz Mostert and partner Riarne Marwood have shared the beautiful news the pair are engaged with wedding bells around the corner.
The heartwarming news was shared on Instagram on Thursday, with photos showing the couple loved up with beaming smiles and teary eyes.
The emotions are running particularly high for the glamorous couple because the news follows a recent tragic revelation they are still trying to recover from the heartbreaking tragedy of their first child being stillborn at 22 weeks last month.

Marwood shared gut-wrenching photos and memories from her pregnancy journey — including photos from behind the scenes of the fairy tale nursery they had planned to have ready for when their daughter Hazel Lola was able to come home.
The deeply-distressing details were shared by Marwood with her 8500 followers, beginning with a message about the trauma it may bring about for couples who have experienced similar tragedies.
“To my darling Hazel, the day I found out about you my life changed forever,” the 26-year-old wrote.
“I’ll never forget that most magical Christmas Eve when I saw a little pink line appear I was bursting with so much excitement and overwhelming joy and began to love you in that instant. A few weeks later my love for you grew even stronger when I saw your little heart beating away. I spent the next 5 months constantly dreaming of you and what our beautiful life together would be like.
“At a routine scan my world was turned upside down when we heard those words “I’m sorry but there’s something wrong with your baby’s heart”.
“We hoped and prayed and begged for a miracle for those next 6 long weeks of more scans and appointments because we have never wanted something more in our lives as much as we wanted you. But instead of waking from this nightmare, it only got worse.
“The day your heart stopped beating was the day mine broke completely, all of our hopes and dreams and the life we imagined with you suddenly shattered into a million painful pieces.
“On the 03.05.23 I gave birth to the most beautiful little sleeping angel with her hand on her broken heart. That day I learnt that pure love and deep gut wrenching pain can coincide and live together for eternity.
“My heart will never recover from the pain of losing my baby girl. There will always be an empty place in my heart and in my arms that will forever belong to you Hazel Lola Mostert. You were too beautiful for this world. You are my angel, my darling, my star, and my love will find you wherever you are.”
The heartbreaking message was met with a flurry of support messages from fellow Supercars drivers and their partners.
As Marwood shared, the wound may never fully heal, but she has shared that her heart is full again after her special engagement with the Walkinshaw Andretti United driver.
The couple have been together since 2019. Marwood first became involved in Supercars circles after competing in the Miss Supercars event at the Gold Coast 600 in 2016 as a 19-year-old.
The proposal happened last month prior to the driver’s journey to Tasmania for the SuperSprint stage of the Supercars Championship.
His personal news is something more special than any victory he will ever have on the track.
His partner wrote: “On 8.05.23 the love of my life got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
“I’ve never been so sure of anything in my life than saying yes to spending my forever with you Chaz.
“As the sun disappeared on the day we last held and said goodbye to our precious daughter, you filled my heavy heart with an entirely new depth of love. We are bonded in ways I never knew were possible and I’m forever grateful to have you by my side, through the good days and the bad.
“You are my everything, my soulmate, my love and my light. I can’t wait to be your wife and spend the rest of my life with you.”
She shared the message with a video that included an audio recording of a cover of Elvis Presley’s ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ classic.
The couple’s news has been met with a flurry of congratulatory message from across the motorsport world and it is safe to assume Mostert will be the most loved driver on the grid when he returns for the Darwin Triple Crown next weekend.
