It went a long way in the Thunder taking down the Bulls for their fourth win from their last five games to improve to 20-23 overall on the campaign.

As Giddey explained post-match, playing with more physicality has been a big focus of his in recent.

“I’m starting to realise – I’m a pretty big guy. I’m trying to get in the lane and use my size a little bit more. I settled for a lot of floaters early on,” he said post-match.

“Just trying to make an emphasis on getting downhill, getting to the rim and trying to get to the free throw line a little bit more.

“Doing what I can to help our team win.”

Elsewhere, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander racked up 21 points, five rebounds, six assists, four steals and two blocks and Jalen Williams added 22 points, eight rebounds and two steals.

For the DeMar DeRozan-less Bulls, Zach LaVine led the way with 25 points including shooting 14-of-15 from the free throw line, plus six rebounds and five assists.

Nikola Vucevic (19 points, 11 boards) and Pat Williams (18 points) also chipped in big games for the home side.

MORE TO COME.
