Sam Konstas showed us how to face Jasprit Bumrah. How would you go?

His bowling action is awkward, and the results often brilliant.

Jasprit Bumrah is rated the best bowler in Test cricket and has been a thorn in the side of Australia’s batsmen throughout the first four Tests of the Border-Gavaskar series.

But Bumrah isn’t just a red-ball specialist. In both the T20 and one-day formats, the right-armer from Ahmedabad has befuddled, demoralised and regularly dismissed the best batters in the world.

He’s fast enough, but it isn’t just speed that kills when it comes to the 31-year-old. From inswingers to outswingers, use of the seam and the odd straight delivery, he has every tool at his disposal.

Ahead of the fifth and final Test of the Border-Gavaskar series at the Sydney Cricket Ground, with the fate of the trophy still in the balance, here’s your chance to see how you would fare against Bumrah’s bowling.

See where the ball pitches, look for some movement in the air and pick what’s about to happen. Unless you’re as brave, and talented, as Sam Konstas, maybe keep the ramp shots on ice.

So, how did you go?

0-2: Oh, man. As far as batting bunnies go, you’re right up there.

3-4: You’re OK, but don’t be shocked if you get dropped mid-series.

5-6: You’ve got a great eye and a sound technique. Watch the runs flow.

7: Don’t bother with a helmet. Get out the ramp shot. Charge down the wicket. You’ve got the great Bumrah worked out.
