The Adelaide Crows have received a massive boost for their grand final rematch against Melbourne, with three-time premiership captain Chelsea Randall passed fit to play on Friday night.
Randall has missed the past two games with an ankle injury, but coach Matthew Clarke says the inspirational star has ticked all the boxes to face the Demons at Ikon Park.
“She has worked super hard throughout the rehab process,” Clarke said.
Furphy has made the commitment to provide equal support to its AFL and AFLW teams. Don’t support the AFLW? Unbelievable.
“It was touch and go for a while there but it’s right on three weeks and she got through training, so she’s available.
“We did a version of a match sim for a brief period and she just ran around and played, so she should be alright.”
For Melbourne, they missed taking top spot on the AFLW ladder by just a single point after their demolition of West Coast in the final round of season seven.
But they’ll take an unchanged line up into the first final of the season.
Bouncedown for the first qualifying final starts at 7.10pm, with the winner booking their spot in the preliminary final.
The loser will have to wait on an opponent for a semi final next weekend.
