By John Schell

Selections based on a soft track.

Race 1

8. Literature Tycoon is lightly raced with the four starts to her name, and she hasn’t been far away in any of them, the latest when fifth at this track when resuming from a spell. She’s drawn ideally in gate two and gets her chance to break through. 6. Share The Joy has had plenty of chances with six placings from 18 starts. She’s been placed in each of her latest three runs and another bold showing is on the cards. 4. Audenzia resumed from a spell after two trials with a solid second at Kembla Grange and a repeat of that would have her in the finish of this. 1. Jed wasn’t beaten far when a last-start placing at Wyong, and he could figure in the placings again.
How to play it: Literature Tycoon to win.

Race 2

8. She Swings hit the line well when on debut at Warwick Farm to finish second behind La Roja. She came from well back in the field in that event. She followed that up with a second as favourite at this track when also charging home. She gets her chance here from the inside gate. 5. From The Peak has looked good winning each of her two trials and makes her debut here. She looks talented and is set to run boldly. 9. Ti Amo Tanto has been unplaced in each of her three starts but resumes here after a couple of solid trials. 4. Eclair Awesome ran well when second on debut at Nowra and looks set to make an impact again based on that effort.
How to play it: She Swings to win.

Race 3

3. Nyota has led them up at her latest two starts and followed a second at Kembla Grange with a solid victory at Wyong when scoring in fine style. She should push forward again here and take a power of running down. 4. Presley had no luck at Canberra when resuming, then ran a creditable fourth at Canterbury. This looks within his capabilities. 5. Zizette won at this track before a last-start second behind Nyota and a repeat of that would have her in the finish. 2. Wannawinwin is fitter for two runs back from a spell and the step up in distance suits.
How to play it: Nyota to win.

Race 4

1. Crown The King made his debut with a good second at Doomben, then resumed with a solid Inglis Millennium effort when midfield. He was since close up when fourth at Canterbury and should give plenty of cheek here. 2. Matias made his debut with a fifth in the same race Crown The King contested last time out and that looks good form for this. 5. Napoleonic was midfield at Warwick Farm on debut and should be better for that run, while 8. Daphnes comes out of a strong race and is worth thought.
How to play it: Crown The King to win.

Viktor has finished second in two of his three starts and resumes here after a solid recent trial. 2. Frontex has been placed in both of his runs to date and should be in the finish again if he can run up to those efforts. 11. Race 6

4. Ambassadors resumed from a spell with a strong second at Wyong when racing on the speed and battling on well. He’s drawn well and the extra distance should suit. 12. Bluebird Bay won at Hawkesbury at his second start and a repeat of that would have him in the mix. 2. Etched In Time wasn’t far behind Tenderize when sixth at Canterbury last time out and Tenderize won again at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.
How to play it: Ambassadors each way.

Race 7

8. Sandpaper has had four starts since resuming and followed a strong win at Wyong with placings in each of his three city runs. He’s drawn well and looks a leading contender. 1. Race 8
