Queensland enforcer Reuben Cotter has been awarded the Wally Lewis Medal for the 2023 State of Origin Player of the Series following the Blues’ 24-10 win in Game III.
The Maroons wrapped up the series victory at Suncorp Stadium in Game II and Cotter was a central figure for Billy Slater’s side.
In the series opener in Adelaide, Cotter played the full 80 minutes with injuries hampering the Queensland outfit.

Capping off his impressive series, Cotter also played the full 80 minutes in Sydney — meaning he didn’t miss a minute of the 2023 series playing in the forwards.
