Punter ‘ready to go’ but faces nervous wait in bid to make it two Aussies in Super Bowl

Former AFL player Arryn Siposs has declared he’s “ready to go” for the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl after overcoming an ankle injury.

Siposs, the Philadelphia Eagles’ punter, hurt his ankle in December and missed the final four games of the regular season plus Monday’s NFC Championship win over the San Francisco 49ers that propelled his team to the biggest game of the year.

He had previously said he was very close to playing against the 49ers and on Tuesday morning declared he was ready to play but didn’t know if he’d be selected.
