An already-gruelling race weekend for Oscar Piastri in Azerbaijan only got worse on Sunday with the Australian cruelled by bad luck on his way to an 11th-place finish.
The 22-year-old missed out on the points in Baku, where he started in 10th but dropped down to 13th on the opening lap.
Replays showed that Piastri was shunted by Alex Albon on the first lap to hamper his race early.

But the biggest blow was a slow pit-stop, which was made even worse by the fact that it came just moments before a safety car was called.
Piastri reclaimed two positions but finished nearly three seconds behind the AlphaTauri of Yuki Tsunoda with the McLaren once again struggling for race pace.
Meanwhile, Piastri’s McLaren teammate, Lando Norris, finished ninth.

Piastri was already having a tough weekend with the McLaren driver suffering from sickness.
His manager Mark Webber revealed that his client had lost more than three kilograms as a result of the illness.
After the race, Piastri told his pit wall: “Shame to be P11 but we didn’t have the pace.
“Sorry I haven’t seen most of you this weekend.
“Big shout-out too to the Doc!”
Piastri has four championship points from his first four races in F1, which all came in Australia earlier this month.
