The Raiders desperately need to win this home game against the struggling Bulldogs after Ricky Stuart’s men were embarrassed by the Storm last week.

But they’ll have to do it without star No. 6 Jack Wighton who was scratched on Saturday due to a minor hamstring strain, with Matt Frawley coming into the halves.

Canberra’s favourite son Jarrod Croker returns from a hamstring injury in the centres, while James Schiller will play his third game of the season, joining the bench along with Tom Starling.

Canterbury coach Cameron Ciraldo has moved Raymond Faitala-Mariner into the starting side at lock after Ryan Sutton was scratched the day before the game as he continues his battle back from a neck injury.

Prop Max King has been shifted to the bench with England international Luke Thompson to start.
