Have your say: which team will get the two points?
McInnes off for HIA
Things keep getting worse for Cronulla, with skipper Cameron McInnes take from the field for a head injury assessment for a head clash. Siosifa Talakai comes into the contest.

Warriors push-out lead with penalty kick
Just when the Sharks start to get some momentum, Oregon Kaufusi puts the ball down.
Add to that Briton Nikora giving away a lazy penalty for a late hit on Chanel Harris-Tavita, and the Warriors opt to take the extra two points.
Luke Metcalf nails the kick and it’s a converted try the difference.

Sharks on the board with try for Hiroti
Mawene Hiroti couldn’t stop a try at the other end of the field, but now he has a four-pointer of his own thanks to a Jesse Ramien line break.
Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad comes dangerously close to a professional foul (and sin bin) for slowing down the play-the-ball after making a tackle on Ramien, but the Warriors fullback gets away with just a set restart.
It doesn’t matter either way. Cronulla have the numbers in attack, and play catch-and-pass to Hiroti out on the left edge to score.
Nicho Hynes bends the conversion back in, which means we have a four-point game.

Pompey scores Warriors second
The Warriors are off to a flyer in the Shire, with Adam Pompey scoring the visitors second try of the night.
Will Kennedy loses the ball on the line from a little Chanel Harris-Tavita kick, and Pompey is there to clean up the mess.

Sharks lose chance after obstruction
Frustrating start for Cronulla with a set restart, penalty and six again inside the Warriors 10 metres, but the team can’t capitalise for points.
The Sharks are in perfect position to score, but they make a rookie error as Braydon Trindall gives away a penalty for obstructing Warriors defenders who are trying to make a tackle of Teig Wilton.

New Zealand error opens door for Sharks
The Warriors were putting the pressure back on Cronulla following that try for Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, but it’s the New Zealand winger who lets the Sharks back in the game with a knock-on at half way.
This is the best chance Cronulla have had in the match so far. Time for Nicho Hynes and Braydon Trindall to work some magic.

Warriors strike first through Watene-Zelezniak
The Warriors had an opening with that penalty for a slow peel from Mawene Hiroti, and they pull the trigger straight away.
Luke Metcalf puts in a beautiful kick to Dallin Watene-Zelezniak on the wing, and the Warriors winger beats Hiroti in a contest for the ball and plants it safely on the turf.
Picture-perfect play from New Zealand, and a very well-placed hick from Metcalf.

Sharks winning field position battle
A nice clean start from both teams, with the Sharks and Warriors getting through their first couple of sets with ease.
Cronulla are just slightly winning the field position battle – putting the Warriors on their 10m line to start their sets. But now we have a penalty for New Zealand to give them a hand out of their own end.

Kick-off in the Shire
Play is under way at Shark Park, with Blayke Brailey leading the team out in his 150th match.
Luke Metcalf gets things going with the kick-off, and Addin Fonua-Blake takes the first carry for Cronulla.
