WHO ARE THE TEAMS?
The South Sydney Rabbitohs, Manly Sea Eagles, Brisbane Broncos and the Sydney Roosters are the four clubs who have been given the first opportunity to promote our great game to American audiences.
The Rabbitohs and their star-studded side will play Tom Trbojevic and the Manly Sea Eagles in the first game of the double header.
The second game features superstar Reece Walsh and his Brisbane Broncos up against the Sydney Roosters and their potent backline.
These two fixtures will make up the first two games of Round 1.
The remainder of the Round 1 games will be played the following week, beginning with the Raiders and Knights on Thursday, March 7.
The four Vegas teams will have that week off to allow for travel and recovery.
WHERE ARE THE GAMES BEING PLAYED?
Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium are hosting both games back-to-back.
Built in 2020 and nicknamed ‘The Death Star’, Allegiant Stadium is an impressive $2.15 million (USD) piece of infrastructure that houses the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders.
It played host to Super Bowl 58 just three weeks prior, which saw the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers.
Weather forecast won’t matter much, with Allegiant Stadium a domed stadium.
The capacity of Allegiant Stadium is 65,000, with at least 40,000 expected to be in attendance for the double header.
