Broncos and Raiders

This is the situation facing the eighth-placed Broncos and ninth-placed Raiders heading into Round 24.

Brisbane are two points ahead and hold a 46 points differential advantage. So, even a narrow loss tonight might be enough to keep them in the eight heading into the final round. A win, of course, will result in much better sleep for coach Kevin Walters over the coming nights.

60 one week, how many the next?

Last Friday Brisbane conceded 60 points in a shocking loss to the Storm. It’s safe to say they’ll improve but will they find enough to win? You’d have to think they to start very well. If the Eels steamroll them early the demons of last week are sure to return.

Team news – Broncos and Eels

A few changes for Brisbane. Jordan Pereira starts on the wing instead of Selwyn Cobbo, Corey Jensen (No.16) will start at lock and both Keenan Palasia (No.21) and Zac Hosking (No.22) are on the interchange bench.

For the Eels there is just one minor change. Ryan Matterson will start from the bench with Marata Niukore named to start at lock.
