North Melbourne coach Alastair Clarkson is set to announce he is stepping away from the game for an indefinite period.
The Kangaroos were set to confirm that Clarkson was stepping away from football, according to a well-placed source familiar with Clarkson’s situation.
Clarkson had been under massive pressure as a result of the investigation into treatment of First Nations players from his time as coach at Hawthorn. He has maintained his innocence and strongly denied the allegations.
