The NRL has come under scrutiny after Storm five-eighth Cameron Munster escaped a charge despite appearing to elbow Roosters playmaker Sam Walker on Friday night.
Four players were charged in a dramatic fallout to Friday’s fiery game, which saw the Roosters score a crucial 18-14 win away from home.
It came at a cost though, with Victor Radley suffering a sickening head knock while Lindsay Collins is also set to be rubbed out for four weeks for dangerous contact.

Radley, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Nelson Asofa-Solomona were are also charged although an argument could be made that Munster should have also joined them.
The Melbourne five-eighth appeared to elbow Roosters halfback Walker in the face in the 65th minute after he was tackled following a linebreak.
The act saw Roosters fans blow up at the stadium and on social media, but it went unpunished.
It came after Waerea-Hargreaves was binned for a tackle on Asofa-Solomona which almost all onlookers deemed legal.
Veteran rugby league reporter Brent Read revealed on Triple M that Munster didn’t escape scrutiny completely from the NRL.
“Cameron Munster has been issued with a concerning act notice for an elbow on Sammy Walker, so that’s a bit of a worry for Cam Munster,” Read said.
“It just means they’re keeping an eye on Cam, he’ll be right.”
It means Munster will play in Melbourne’s clash against Parramatta in the final round next week and the victor will likely take the final spot in the top four.
Munster is enjoying one of the best seasons of his career but couldn’t land the killer blow against the Roosters on Friday night.
