Floyd Mayweather’s fight against Deji Olatunji has been brought to a halt midway through the sixth round.
The ending to the fight didn’t sit well with Olatunji or those watching on who argued the ending came too early.

During the fifth round of the fight, Olatunji landed a solid right hand to the left eye of Mayweather, leaving the boxing icon with a large bruise and swelling to the eye.
That one shot however from Olatunji was the only highlight as Mayweather showed off his prowess throughout the fight.
He controlled the bout by using his speed and landing crisp shots all over Olatunji and showing off his impressive footwork.
In the sixth round Olatunji stayed in the pocket with Mayweather and after throwing a few shots before clinching with Mayweather, the referee stepped in to separate the two.
After being released Mayweather put the foot down and landed an uppercut before multiple body shots. With Olatunji standing in the corner not fighting back the referee stepped in to bring the fight to an end.
Olatunji wasn’t impressed and immediately argued with the referee as fans lamented the fight being stopped.
“I’m glad that Deji landed a good shot. This is part of fighting, this is part of entertaining,” Mayweather said after the bout.
Olatunji was extremely pleased with how it unfolded and then turned his attention to calling out some big name pop stars.
“I’m tough!
“I want to thank everyone who came out, my friends and family, my team, everybody.”
“I’ wouldn’t mind fighting Justin Bieber, Liam Payne, anyone who wants it really, I’m on all the smoke!”
The undercard produced arguably the biggest moment of the night with Tommy Fury’s fight being overshadowed by a heckling ringside Jake Paul.
Paul and Fury have had two previous fights fall by the wayside, but the pair shook hands and agreed to a February showdown.
Fury missed weight by a long way for Monday’s fight which saw his opponent withdraw and Rolly Lambert step in on only a few hours notice.
Paul was unimpressed and heckled Fury before and after the fight, causing a row between the pair.
The bout went the distance and Paul made his feelings known from ringside, telling Fury he “sucked at boxing.”
Words were then exchanged from ringside, prompting Fury’s dad and coach John to rip his top off and challenge the American.
John later told press after the fight that he shook hands with Paul’s manager Nakisa Bidarian over a rescheduled date for February.
“I’ve locked him down, backed him into a corner and checkmated him. He’s agreed to a February bout,” he said.
“He shook my hand, he gave me his word of honour his manager, it’s happening in February.
“I said, ‘Listen, if you back out, you’ll never live it down in your life and you can’t break a man’s handshake.’
“Contracts mean nothing to me but a handshake does and my word, you can build a tower block on it.
“He’s given me his word, his manager, we fight in February. And where better place? The world of Dubai.”
