Jason Taumalolo is out with a minor hamstring injury, with Jake Granville shifting to lock, while Heilum Luki (facial fracture) is replaced by Kulikefu Finefeuiaki, with Jack Gosiewski joining the bench.
The sixth placed Rabbitohs need to win to keep in touch with the top eight, while the 13th placed Cowboys need a victory to keep in touch with the top eight.
