Joey Manu is out suspended for the Roosters, with Drew Hutchison starting in the centres.
The Roosters have added Corey Allan and Naufahu Whyte to their bench, with Terrell May dropping out.
For the Eels Junior Paulo is out due to suspension with Wiremu Greig named to start in his place, while Jack Murchie is back from a head knock on the bench.
Ryan Matterson returned from suspension in the back row last week, but could be used as a middle to cover for the loss of Paulo.
