The Sharks will battle it out with the Cowboys for the inaugural Paul Green Medal on Thursday night at PointsBet Stadium.
Green, who tragically passed away last year, played 95 games for the Sharks and 35 for the Cowboys.
He also coached 167 NRL games for the Cowboys — and took the club to its maiden premiership in 2015.

Green’s children will leas out the two teams through a guard of honour formed by his family and former teammates.
The Paul Green Medal will be awarded to the player of the match — who will be selected by the winning coach.
It will also be the first time the two teams meet since the Cowboys’ thrilling golden point win over the Sharks in the first week of finals last year.
The Cowboys have looked like a very different side though this season, only recording three wins from their first eight games.
The Sharks are sitting slightly better winning three of their first seven and enjoying a bye in Round 6.
Both coaches have been able to name the same sides that delivered wins last week.
