Newcastle coach Adam O’Brien will be desperate for Ponga’s switch to the halves to unlock the marquee superstar’s attacking prowess.
The 24-year-old’s 2022 campaign was hampered by injuries and off field issues, but now he will be tasked with leading the line alongside recruit Jackson Hastings.
