LIVE NRL: Depleted Dragons face big challenge as Ricky pulls shock Raiders switch

The Dragons will be without three of their key men as they look to bounce back from last week’s big loss in their clash with the Raiders.

Skipper Ben Hunt will miss the game due to Origin duties, while Tyrell Sloan and Jaydn Su’A are out injured.

Round 19

It means interim coach Ryan Carr has turned to Paul Turner to make his club debut at fullback, while Billy Burns comes in at second row after an impressive performance in NSW Cup last week.

27-year-old Dan Russell also comes into the 17 for his long-awaited NRL debut.

The Dragons are coming off back-to-back losses — both by 30 points or more.

The Raiders on the other hand have won three of their last four games and are humming nicely as they set their sights on the top four.

They will be without fiery lock Corey Horsburgh though, who is set to make his State of Origin debut next week.

Coach Ricky Stuart has pulled a surprise late switch with Matt Frawley coming in for Horsburgh.
