Australia will look to take a two-nil lead in the T20I series against the West Indies at the Adelaide Oval, but they will have to do it without star bowler Sean Abbott.
Abbott was ruled out for the remaining two games after sustaining a shoulder injury in the first T20I in Hobart, which Australia won by 11 runs.

Although Abbott is a bowler by trade, it was in the field where he starred as he took four catches and finished with bowling figures of 1/41 from four overs bowled.
Cricket Australia confirmed Xavier Bartlett takes Abbott’s place in the team, although he will join up with the squad only for the final T20.

With Abbott out for the second match, it opens the door for either Aaron Hardie or Spencer Johnson to come into the team.
The Aussies are unbeaten in their last three T20Is at Adelaide and will no doubt want to continue the streak as they look to take an unassailable lead in the series.
As for the West Indies, history is most certainly not on their side having failed to beat Australia across all three formats at Adelaide Oval since 1993.
However, they’ll take plenty of heart from how close they came to beating the Aussies in Hobart.
