West Coast will look to shrug off a recent horror run to try and claim their second win of the season against Essendon in Perth.
The Eagles (1-9, 55.4%) will welcome back premiership trio Shannon Hurn, Tom Barrass and Elliot Yeo in a big boost for a team that’s been battling to field a full AFL side.
The Bombers (5-5, 102.6%) headed to Perth without both Dylan Shiel and Brad Scott on Friday, but the coach flew later on a separate flight after battling illness this week.

West Coast have endured a horror week after their 116-point loss to formerly last-placed Hawthorn last round, amid calls for coach Adam Simpson to be sacked.
Bizarre midweek reports that Simpson would be asked to take three months leave also rocked the club as there were conflicting statements released.

The coach himself says he’s got his mind on the Bombers, and getting an improved effort from his players.
“We need to find a way to compete better. I know I’ve said this a number of times and I’ll say this again, we are on a journey and there’s no quick fix, but we need to be better than last week,” he said.
“Regardless of how young the side is or the talent that is not available we want more than what we delivered last week, obviously.”
This match gets underway at 7.40pm AEST from Optus Stadium.
