LIVE AFL: Hawks ‘on notice’ for late change as Cats out to avoid 64-year first

Geelong will be hoping to avoid a 64-year first when it takes on Hawthorn in the traditional Easter Monday clash at the MCG, with both teams occupying the bottom two spots on the ladder.

The Cats last week became the first reigning premier since 1976 to begin a season 0-3. Lose to Hawthorn on Monday and Chris Scott’s men will become the first reigning premier to be 0-4 since Collingwood in 1959.

The Hawks can’t be underestimated, with Sam Mitchell’s side coming off a confidence-boosting win over North Melbourne last weekend.
