Adelaide will have to break Sydney’s five-game winning streak when the two sides meet on Saturday night if they have any hope of playing finals in 2023.
The Crows (10-11, 115.8%) will get a big boost for the must-win match with the return of exciting forward Izak Rankine.
The Swans meantime (11-9-1, 112.1%) will be looking to cement their place in the top eight in a dramatic turnaround for last year’s grand finalists after sitting in the bottom four just five weeks ago.

Brisbane eye top spot after beating Pies | 02:22
Adelaide coach Matthew Nicks has labelled the clash against Sydney – a side his Crows haven’t beaten since 2019 – as the biggest in his time at the club.
“There is no bigger challenge – it’s an elimination final for us,” he said.
“We’re coming up against a team in really strong form, five wins on the trot and back to their best.
“They have a lot of run and gun, we’re expecting a hot contest.”
This match gets underway at 7.40pm AEST from Adelaide Oval.
Watch it live on Channel 503 from 7.30pm AEST.
