The Memphis Grizzlies suspended Ja Morant from all team activities on Sunday after another video of the star guard appearing to hold a gun began spreading on social media.
“We are aware of the social media video involving Ja Morant,” the Grizzlies said in a statement. “He is suspended from all team activities pending League review. We have no further comment at this time.”

The video, from the Instagram account “_dtap2,” was captured and shared by others on social media. The latest video comes more than two months after Morant was filmed in an Instagram Live video brandishing a gun in Shotgun Willie’s, a strip club in Glendale, Colorado. The NBA suspended Morant, 23, for eight games over that March 4 incident. Morant later told NBA analyst Jalen Rose that the gun from the March 4 video wasn’t his. Morant also said he was “gonna show everybody who Ja really is, what I’m about and change this narrative that nobody got painted over me”.
