‘I just do what I do’: Latrell says ‘worst enemies are watching’ in big Panthers warning

Rabbitohs superstar Latrell Mitchell has issued a big warning to the Panthers ahead of their “do or die” preliminary finals clash.

The 25-year-old missed out on last year’s grand final due to suspension but has been instrumental in his side’s charge a premiership this season.

Speaking to media on Tuesday, Mitchell said he was younger, the pressure used to affect him — but now he seeks out the “pressure cooker moments”.

“The pressure cooker moments are what I love, it is what I thrive on and it is do-or-die as well,” Mitchell said.

“Everyone at home, love or hate me, I just do what I do, and I know even my worst enemies are watching my games.

“When I was a bit younger, 18 and 19, it was a bit different, but now I have taken on board a bit of a role.

“It has made me the person I am today, a lot of off-field stuff has helped and the footy is just a bonus I guess.”

After moving to the Redfern-based club ahead of the 2020 season, Mitchell has become a cult-hero for Rabbitohs fans.
