Foxfooty.com.au has confirmed The Age’s report Koschitzke, 23, told Hawks club officials this week of his decision.
The former pick No.52 had an offer on the table from Hawthorn, but instead is seeking a cross-town move to the Tigers.

Koschitzke spent time as a key defender before a move forward during his 48 senior games for the Hawks since being drafted in 2018.
He is the cousin of former St Kilda forward Jacob Koschitzke.
The Hawks and Essendon are the two remaining candidates for North Melbourne free agent Ben McKay.
They are also one of several clubs that have shown interest in Gold Coast Suns fringe forward Mabior Chol.
Koschitzke could prove a forward foil for Tom Lynch, with champion spearhead Jack Riewoldt retiring this season.
