The Wolves’ have reportedly tabled a deal for a minimum of two years, with big monetary incentives for delivering silverware to the Super League club.

However, Holbrook will now have to decide between a head coaching role abroad or a NRL assistant role after Bulldogs supremo Phil Gould flew to the Gold Coast for a meeting.

Ciraldo and Gould reportedly held preliminary talks with Holbrook a fortnight ago in the hopes of adding him to the Bulldogs’ coaching staff.

“The Bulldogs are definitely an option,” Holbrook’s manager Chris Orr said.

“He had a positive meeting with ‘Gus’ (Gould) and Cameron, so there is interest there and he has some great connections to the Bulldogs.
