MANCHESTER, England — Pep Guardiola has told his Manchester City players that West Ham will do everything to stop them winning a fourth successive Premier League title.

City need to beat West Ham at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday to be crowned champions.

West Ham have nothing riding on the game and David Moyes, who is leaving the club at the end of the season, has said “it will be difficult stopping City’s under-14s winning the title.”

City, though, have had final day scares in the past, needing late goals to come back from losing positions to beat QPR in 2012 and Aston Villa in 2022.

“He [Moyes] will do everything to beat us,” Guardiola told a news conference on Friday.
