The Giants hold the juicy first selection of the second round, Pick 22, which has given them almost 24 hours to decide their next move.
They could yet trade the pick, with clubs like Melbourne and Adelaide known to be interested, but Foxfooty.com.au understands it’s more likely GWS will hold and make a selection.
Their cross-town rivals Sydney hit them with a surprising bid for Academy prospect Harry Rowston on Monday night.
It forced the Giants to match and use up one of their four top-20 selections, rather than being able to take the pick as normal and then match the Rowston bid later using late picks.
Among the top players left on the board heading into Tuesday night are versatile defender Jakob Ryan, key position player Lewis Hayes, midfielder/forward Brayden George, ruckman Harry Barnett and Essendon father-son Alwyn Davey Jnr. MORE HERE
