Lachlan Galvin looks set to be axed by the Wests Tigers for their Easter Monday clash against Parramatta.
Sources with knowledge of the situation not authorised to speak publicly confirmed Adam Doueihi was in line to wear Galvin’s No.6 jersey against the Eels.

Galvin’s management told the Tigers on Monday they were not interested in any extension from the Tigers beyond 2026, which prompted the club to quickly – very publicly – declare the 19-year-old would be leaving at the end of next season.
“It should be noted that the club has NO intention of releasing Lachlan from his contract, and he has not requested this,” the Tigers said in a statement.
Just how long Galvin remains at the club remains to be seen, especially now he is tipped to be left off the team sheet when it is released at 4pm on Tuesday.
Latu Fainu remains unavailable because of a broken thumb, with Doueihi, who remains without a deal for next year, the front-runner to shift into the halves alongside Jarome Luai.
A full house is expected for Monday’s clash against the Eels at CommBank Stadium. There were already fears Galvin would have received a frosty reception from Tigers fans.
It is not known if Galvin will be asked to play in the NSW Cup.
