Paired with his moustache, Bottas now has a striking look with his new style as he shared a video of the transformation on social media.

He is currently in Melbourne, relaxing after the F1 season finished in Abu Dhabi on November 20.

Bottas is with his partner, Australian cyclist Tiffany Cromwell and being down under must have given him the inspiration to go for the mullet.

In the video he shared on Twitter titled “#offseason”, it starts with him having a coffee with Cromwell and Bottas suggests that he does not fit in the couple’s surroundings.

She asked him: “Well how are you going to do that (fit in)?”

To which Bottas replied: “I think I’m going to need to change my style.”

Cromwell then responded by asking: “What do you mean?’”, before Bottas answered: “You’ll see.”

The video then cuts to him in the barber shop as he is transformed with the mullet haircut and new outfit.

He is wearing a Victoria Bitter singlet and matching shorts with a bottle of the classic Aussie beer in hand.

At the end of the clip, he says: “You beauty. Now I feel like home. I fit in.”

Cromwell quips in response: “As long as you’re happy.”

After moving from Mercedes to Alfa Romeo, Bottas finished 10th in the drivers’ championship in 2022.

The next F1 campaign is due to begin on March 5 next year with the Bahrain GP.
