Everything you need to know for the 2023 State of Origin including kick off time for Game 2

State of Origin Game II kicks off on Wednesday night with Queensland heavy favourites to wrap up the series against a walking wounded New South Wales side.

Blues superstar Latrell Mitchell was scratched after failing to overcome a calf niggle that also kept him out of the series opener, while Nathan Cleary (hamstring) and Api Koroisau (broken jaw) have also been sidelined.

New South Wales coach Brad Fittler is coaching for his future and swung the axe on Nicho Hynes and Tevita Pangai Junior following quiet debuts.

Game 2

The changes see Damien Cook and Mitchell Moses recalled, while Stefano Utoikamanu and Reece Robson will make their Origin debuts.

The Maroons are without winger Selwyn Cobbo (hip) and Tom Gilbert (shoulder) and Jai Arrow (ankle) from Game I.

Xavier Coates, Jeremiah Nanai and Mo Fotuaika have earned recalls for Queensland.
