Everything you need to know ahead of the Cricket World Cup final

For the first time since 2003, Australia and India will compete in the final of the Cricket World Cup at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday in what promises to be an absolute blockbuster.

India, the hosts of this year’s tournament, beat 2019 finalists New Zealand by 70 runs to make the final while Australia edged South Africa by three wickets to join them.

A win for Australia would secure the nation’s fifth World Cup title, while India are hoping to win its first silverware since 2011.

The Aussies will no doubt want a repeat of their 2003 heroics when they battered India in a 125-run victory, but the host nation are yet to lose a match at this World Cup.
