The Dragons have suffered a big blow with utility Jayden Sullivan in doubt for the start of the 2023 season after sustaining a hamstring injury becoming the third spine member to be unavailable.
The Daily Telegraph reported Sullivan, who has a history of hamstring injuries, is set to be ruled out for six weeks after his latest setback, which places him in doubt for the start of the season.

The Dragons don’t kick-off their season until Round 2 against the Titans due to a bye in Round 1, but O’Sullivan is set to miss pre-season games against Souths and St Helens, which will have him racing the clock to be fit for the first game of the season proper.
O’Sullivan was set to start in the halves alongside Ben Hunt, with Talatau Amone’s availability clouded as he fights serious charges in court over an alleged hammer attack.

Amone could be subject to the NRL’s no fault stand-down policy after being charged with recklessly causing grievous bodily harm (in company), destroying property and intimidation after an incident near his Wollongong home in November.
Amone is due back in court this week, but at best is doubtful for the start of the season.
Meanwhile, fullback Cody Ramsey is unlikely for the start of the season as he continues his recovery from a serious illness called ulcerative colitis.
