Greg Norman’s feud with Tigers Woods isn’t going away anytime soon.
The Australian legend and LIV Golf CEO didn’t miss an opportunity to take a swipe at the 15-time major winner in the latest escalation of tension between the breakaway golf tour and the PGA.

Responding to comments from Woods in November in which he said the only way for peace between sides was for Norman to resign, the Shark accused the 47-year-old of being a mouthpiece for the PGA.
“(Woods) doesn’t know the facts … because, obviously, I’m still here,” Norman said on Fox News Channel’s “One Nation with Brian Kilmeade.
“Just making those comments, I think, is an indication that he might be a bit of a mouthpiece for the PGA Tour to try and do – to get us to create – or get turmoil, create it internally within LIV.
“But it’s not happening. We are fully entrenched. We know where we’re going. We know what we’re doing.”
Norman has been the very confrontational face of the breakaway circuit funded by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.
He said in September he had “no interest” in negotiating with the established tours in a bid to heal the bitter split sparked by LIV Golf’s luring of some of the game’s biggest names with multi-million dollar purses for their 54-hole, no-cut tournaments.
The new circuit has been accused of “sportswashing” Saudi Arabia’s human rights record, and the US tours responded to its challenge by suspending any players who competed in LIV events.
Norman addressed concerns about Saudi involvement in LIV during the interview which aired on Sunday.
“PIF (the Saudi Public Investment Fund) is our – our single-source investor. There’s no question about that, no denying about that,” Norman said.
“But everything is up to LIV Golf Investments. It’s up to me and my executive team to run and govern this thing going forward.”
“There’s 23 PGA Tour sponsors who invest up to $40 billion into Saudi Arabia. Why – why don’t people come down on them?
“So, there’s the big question mark of why they’re attacking our credibility.”
