Adelaide free agent Tom Doedee has reportedly nominated Brisbane as his new home for 2024.
That’s according to AFL Media’s Callum Twomey, who revealed Doedee has decided on the Lions amid interest from fellow grand finalist Collingwood ahead of the opening of free agency on Friday.
As Doedee is a restricted free agent, the Crows have the right to match any rival offer, though they’d receive a compensation pick for his departure.

While Doedee will miss a key chunk of next season as he rehabs an ACL injury sustained in Round 12, it remains a huge coup for Chris Fagan to round an improved defence led by Harris Andrews and Jack Payne.
It continues to a strong recruiting spree from the Lions, too, having added Josh Dunkley, Will Ashcroft, Jack Gunston and Conor McKenna last off-season.
“The interest from Brisbane has been strong and consistent throughout this year,” Twomey said on AFL Trade Radio. “This is good business by them, I think.”
The 26-year old has played 82 games for Adelaide since making his debut in 2018, where he finished runner-up to then Collingwood’s Jaidyn Stephenson in the Rising Star Award.
