The AFL is holding a snap press conference to provide an update on the Hawthorn independent investigation, with a deal to end it reportedly imminent.
The Age reports an agreement was made on Tuesday with the families involved, with no findings against Alastair Clarkson, Chris Fagan or Jason Burt.
The presser was announced just 40 minutes before it was scheduled to take place at 7:45pm AEST, with CEO Gillon McLachlan scheduled to attend.

Clarkson, Fagan and Burt have consistently denied all allegations made against them amid claims of historical racism during their time at the Hawks.
