De Koning was ‘managed’ in Round 6, but has been left out of the senior side that will take on West Coast in Perth on Saturday, with the 23-year-old instead facing Footscray in the VFL earlier that day.
Docherty, meanwhile, underwent surgery earlier this month to repair a meniscus tear in his knee and was initially forecast to miss four-to-six weeks.

His return just two weeks later is coupled with the return of Adam Saad from injury, while Michael Voss has dropped midfielder Matt Kennedy.
Geelong midfielder Cameron Guthrie will miss Sunday’s clash with Essendon due to injury.
Guthrie was not listed on the club’s injury list during the week, but has come out of the side, while Essendon will regain star midfielder Zach Merrett after he served a one-match suspension for a dangerous tackle.
