T20 superstar Chris Lynn makes his long-awaited debut for the Adelaide Strikers on Wednesday night after making the shock switch from the Brisbane Heat.
Lynn, who leads the all-time BBL run-scoring leaderboard, was labelled the “greatest batsman in the history of the Big Bash” by veteran seamer Peter Siddle earlier this week.
“He’s one of my good mates and I’ve played a lot of cricket against him. To be able to walk on the field with him after playing so many games against each other is going to be terrific because we know how good he‘s been in the Big Bash for so long,” Siddle said to NCA NewsWire.

“Adelaide Oval is going to suit him. The dimensions of the ground definitely aren’t big enough to contain him, so I’m looking forward to him firing.”
Meanwhile, the Sydney Sixers will be desperate to get their campaign off to a flyer and are set to welcome Kurtis Patterson back into their team.
The top-order batsmen will likely open with young gun Josh Phillipe, while James Vince and Moises Henriques are set to slot into three and four.
English international Chris Jordan will miss this clash and is set to arrive later this week, leaving Dan Christian, Hayden Kerr, Sean Abbott and Steve O’Keefe to spearhead the bowling attack.
