BBL LIVE: Spot in Qualifier final on the line as Perth Scorchers host Sydney Sixers

There is plenty on the line on Tuesday night as the Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers face off at Optus Stadium, with a spot in the Qualifier final against the Brisbane Heat up for grabs.
The equation is simple for both teams. Win and secure second place along with that shot against the Heat for a spot in the BBL decider.

The Scorchers have the advantage of being at home on Tuesday, having not dropped a single game at Optus Stadium so far this season.

They may also welcome Marcus Harris for his first game since BBL|05 after the opening batter was named as the injury replacement player for Jhye Richardson (side strain).

On an individual level, Steve O’Keefe — who will retire at the end of the season — could become the third player to take 100 wickets for the Sixers in BBL history.

He needs three wickets on Tuesday to achieve that feat.

Elsewhere, the Sixers will also be looking to send out English import Laurie Evans on a winning note as he heads over to play in the UAE T20 league after Tuesday’s game.
