The Stars will be without the injured Marcus Stoinis as they hunt redemption against the Renegades in the Melbourne derby on Saturday night.
Stoinis went down with a low-grade hamstring injury, joining teammate Glenn Maxwell on the sidelines as the Stars look to build on a big nine-wicket win over the Strikers on Thursday.
The victory snapped a three-game losing skid for the Stars, who have just three wins all season and sit seventh on the ladder.

Stoinis was replaced by all-rounder Tom O’Donnell in the squad the Stars named ahead of Saturday’s game, which will be crucial in building momentum for a possible finals push.
The Renegades picked up a 33-run win the last time these two teams met and currently sit intisde the top four with five victories from their first 10 games this season.

There will be added motivation for the Renegades too as Kane Richardson celebrates his 100th BBL game, with 36 coming during his time at the Strikers.
